There is a rumor that Nintendo has an official island in Second Life. Linden Labs is unlikely to allow any trademark infringement so a private island called “Nintendo” is most likely owned by them. Nintendo has recently said they are not interested in expanding into 3d Virtual World MMO games. That must mean they are planning some marketing. Only time will tell. Let’s see if we can’t get a private invite to the Nintendo Island?
