Update: Crime scene investigation continues in Second Life but this time it is being used to solve real crimes in the real world. Perhaps Mystery Isle was inspired by the Second Life CSI coverage that the CBS show CSI: New York provided. This included machinima footage from Second Life tracking a killer in and out of the virtual world in episodes “DOA for a Day” and “Down The Rabbit Hole” or by the Second Life Virtual CSI game that was created. I am a big fan of the CSI shows on tv particularly CSI: Miami and was intrigued to learn that Second Life could be used to help solve real world crimes. More on this towards the end of this post….
