RuneScape garnished some major news recently achieving recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest MMORPG game in the world that is free to download.

It is also the second largest MMO with over 5 million players of the free game. That is an insane amount of gamers. RuneScape recently launched an HD version in July.

The thing that I do not like about RuneScape massively multiplayer online role playing game is that it is created in Java. Although Jagex Ltd did a great job with the 3d rendering in the browser, I just hate Java. RuneScape has supposidly created over one hundred and thirty five million accounts. It was created in 1998 and released in 2001.

What to do in RuneScape

1. Work on your mining or fishing skills etc

2. Fight using a real time combat system

3. Go on long quests

4. Find items to sell (quite profitable until restrictions were put in place)
