Federal and State Government Agencies are showing increasing interest and interaction in virtual worlds like Second Life. This includes participation and even virtual sim island purchases and setup by the likes of the National Defense University, State Department along with education, research, and other efforts by the CDC, NOAA, NASA, the Canada Border Services Agency, and more.
