Dancin’ Around the Virtual World

| More

The below video is a tribute to that guy who danced all around the world on YouTube. Where the Hell is Lemo is a video created of a Second Life avatar dancing all around the virtual world. There are many interesting locations that would be fun to visit and it was created by There in Spirit Animations. Check out the video below:

Virtual Matt has never left planet Second Life (TM) and is not very up to date concerning his travels.

As everybody knows there is no more a single “the virtual world” but a whole “the virtual universe” with thousand of OpenSimulator based new virtual worlds.

Virtual Matt really should have included them in his travels.

As the creator of the above video, I couldn’t agree more Kai. However, until these other virtual worlds sort out their asset protection policies I am unfortunatly unable to dance in them without fear of content theft :-(

Once that is all sorted out then I am pretty sure “virtual matt” aka Dancing Lemon, will be travelling extensively through cyberspace!

I’m really looking forward too seeing Dancing Lemon extending his travels to the virtual universe.

For his concerns about asset protection he should keep in mind that his outfit could be cloned already in Second Life (TM). If he chooses a reputable OpenSimulator grid as homebase there should be no reason to fear content theft more than it is already possible in Second Life (TM).

The reason for this is that content theft can be done with tools that work in the same manner in all grids and if somebody decides to start grabbing others content nobody can really stop him.

The most important aditional risk in OpenSimulator based grids is that the grid operator has easy access to all of his users. And for this you have to carefully choose him as you have to trust him like you trust Linden Lab.

If Dancing Lemon is interested in discussing possible travel plans for dancing in the virtual universe, that has in fact grown big in the meantime, I would be glad to help. Just contact me at info@talentraspel.de, we have experience with parties traveling virtual US and/or virtial europe.

Regards,
Kai.
