Well there was another rolling restart today, Thursday October 18, 2007. The restart is due to an upgrade to Second Life designed to improve viewer metrics and standby simulators. Second Life was down for 5 hours. There was collatoral damage as always as the LindeX was not working for buying and selling Linden Dollars. The Lindex was down for over 3 hours. Expect other services to be effected and many more fixes/issues in the next 2 days as always happens. Well I am off to explore the virtual world of Second Life.
