There are several memorials built in Second Life to the September 11 terrorist attacks. You can visit this virtual ground zero for free and easily from home.

This is a great option for those who are otherwise unable to visit the September 11 Ground Zero area.

Several events recently remembered those who lost their lives with speeches, name readings, dedications, performances, and prayer services. The World Trade Center virtual replica at the Wings of Hope sim is one of these.
