Last nights Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was named Avatars, and features a fake Second Life. The tv episode centered around a virtual 14 year old girl roleplaying a kidnapping. The episode includes avatar transaction history but was not implemented using Second Life. Again the focus is on Second Life as a world of smut and paid prostitution and exchanging currency. This was a very negative portrayal of virtual world. But then again when has anyting on Last nights Law & Order: Special Victims Unit been positive. I personally do not watch the show regularly and find it boring.
