There has been a lot of news out and around the virtual 3d world lately. Linden Labs wants to emphasize that land mass has grown over 44%. This is thanks to the Openspace land project which has been very successful. The pricing of Openspace is $250 setup plus $75 a month. Land in Second Life has undergone many pricing changes and even changes to the land store.

Linden Labs is also claiming:

1. 8.5% increase in user hours

2. 14% increase user transactions

3. 5% Lindex volume increase

4. 9% increase in profitable inworld business ventures
