Relay for Life fundraiser raises $200,000
The recent Relay for Life fundraiser in Second Life was a huge success. Over two hundred thousand dollars in real money was raised in Second LIfe. This is a huge increase from the $5,000 raised in 2005 and the $118,000 raised in 2007. Avatars used a 96 acre virtual park sim. This was a great event for the American Cancer Society.
