Linden Labs Cracks Down on Fraud While Lining Their Pockets

In an attempt to crack down on money laundering and criminal enterprises in Second Life, Linden Labs threatened to seize Linden Dollars purchased from sources other than the LindeX exchange. Or is this a ploy for Linden Labs to receive higher commissions? There has always been a problem in Second Life of Linden Dollars taken from phished PayPal accounts and stolen credit cards as well as other illegal activity. Linden Labs threatens to proceed at your own risk. Personally I never use the LindeX exchange due to delays in payouts and many limits and restrictions. I highly recommend SL Exchange.com. I have never had a problem with limits and receive payment immediately. Linden Labs also claims they will penalize residents in receipt of stolen currency up to one hundred and fifty percent. Linden Labs currently makes at least five million dollars a year in commissions from their LindeX exchange. Wouldn’t you say they are looking to increase this profit margin? The LindeX requires a valid credit card and not just a PayPal account.
