It looks like Linden Labs is finally getting some help from IBM

It looks like Linden Labs is finally getting some help from IBM to help stabilize the hardware and environment of Second Life. On the Linden Labs web site Linden Labs announced IBM is actively helping improve the Second Life platform in terms of stability and security. It looks like the Architecture working group will have continued input as well. I think Linden Labs should just flat out sell themselves to IBM but maybe that is too forward thinking. I think Big Blue could also use some of their game development resources to improve Second Life as well but I do not think Linden Labs will relinquish control.
