I have begun taking tours in Second Life. There are many companies offering paid tours of the virtual world. One of these tour companies is STA Travel. The difference is that STA Travel has a free tour service. I took the tour and it was pretty good. You can take the STA free tour of Second Life every Wednesday at 7 pm. There is a different tour every week. There is also a book for sale available with over 200 different destinations in Second Life.
