Grid problems took down many regions. The outage of 42 regions in Second Life is blamed on a server communication program. Another major problem looms as the “all” search does not really include “all”. Items are temporarily removed from search with a delay of one to four weeks when requested to be included. This is clearly a database indexing problem. Remember that Second Life is using the Google Search Appliance. Apparently there is a bug.
