Doctors Seeing Virtual Patients in Second Life
Another great use for Second Life. Teens are now talking about embarrassing sexually transmitted diseases or drug problems. The anonymity yet personal feeling of Second Life has allowed teens to talk to doctors about real life problems. The Adolescent Attention Working Group has launched a Second Life portal. Dr Rosario Jimènez spends four hours a week answering virtual patient questions. This is a very good use for Second Life.
