Linden Labs is clarifying some points on the new Age Verification System. They are as follows:

1. There is much less than an 80% success rate on implementation of the Age Verification System

2. The Second Life Age Verification System is completely voluntary for now but may be required in future

3. The vendor doing the verification is Aristotle. Linden Labs asserts that no data is taken, retained or stored (which is impossible) and the verification is done and purged.
