Adweek Article on Second Life

There was a scathing article in Adweek today about the about-face many are experiencing with Second Life. The article commented that Second Life still has potential but once the novelty wears off many simply loose interest. A steep learning curve and lack of dedication to online gaming were main reasons why many simply loose interest in Second Life. Second Life is still used for market research and is very cheap but even this is loosing value in the eyes of the Many companies leaving Second Life. The article ends by pointing out that Second Life is still perceived as cool. But will one of the other Top 10 Virtual Online Games takeover the leading position that Second Life enjoys?
