In the below video Tip Guru 1 talks about his experiences in Second Life including his recommendations and tips. He prefers using Second Life for role playing and gaming rather than business. Tip Guru 1 even points out a few of his favorite role playing sim.

He really covers many of the negative points while still recommending it although not for everyone. It is certainly an interesting point.

One recommendation I disagree with is he recommends calling Linden Lab on the phone. That will not work as their phone support is frequently down (timed with outages and upgrades when you are more likely to have a problem) and if the phone support is up then you will have a long wait time. Instead I recommend searching the Second Life Wiki and Answers or Community Support
