In this video we see a very interesting tutorial on how to show a PowerPoint presentation in Second Life. This is a pretty interesting topic and tutorial and I see a lot of different applications from holding business meetings, to educational use, to promotional and marketing use in the virtual world.

As a real (and virtual) teacher, I’m very interested in this whole area. But are there any tools that allow one to upload and display multi-page PDF or PowerPoint files (containing both text and images) but WITHOUT using the parcel media stream? The Second Life campuses on which I teach can’t be limited to displaying one course at a time… which I think all of the tools I’ve seen would require!
