Encrypting Chat in Second Life: How does this affect SLim?
You may remember that Second Life recently released a SLim instange messaging client which connects the virtual world to the real world in chat.
Well I am not really sure what reason you would want to do this but the below video shows you how to encrypt your chat in Second Life:
I guess this would serve many anonymous users who do not want records of their chat stored anywhere.
Yeah. Maybe you don’t want someones chat bot recording what you say, or the random hacker sniffing your data packets and reading your IMs.
Or maybe you just don’t want the lindens to have a log of you.
