Vivaty Virtual World Soon in the Browser Like Google Lively
I have written before about Vivaty and the similarities to Google Lively. Vivaty is currently all over the place on facebook but it will soon be available on blogs and web pages. Wait why wasn’t it offered like this before like the Google Lively Islands? Duh. Vivaty currently only runs only in Microsoft Internet Explorer (as does Google Lively see the Google Lively technical center for more information). One advantage that Vivaty has is early adoption by Coke Zero and Target stores. And of course heavy use on facebook and AOL.
“and of course heavy use on facebook”. Uhm, I just checked Adinomics and Vivaty has something like 70 daily active users. Also, the Target app on facebook has a very small user base and the user reviews and ratings are uniformly negative. Bottom line: so far Vivaty appears to be an even bigger flop than Lively.
