Two $10,000 Linden Lab Prize Winners Announced!
We wrote before about the Linden Prize and the list of the 10 finalists for the $10,000 grand prize. Today Linden Lab announced the winner for this Second Life contest.
Actually it was joint winners and both receive a $10,000 prize. Studio Wikitecture and Virtual Ability both won first place over the other two hundred and thirty applications.
Virtual Ability helps people with disabilities use Second Life and promotes the medical and mental benefits while giving the disabled a new sense of freedom and motion. Virtual Ability, Inc. is a non-profit from Colorado, USA. Their mission is to help people with disabilities enter virtual worlds like Second Life.
Studio Wikitecture uses a Wiki-Tree to track 3d model versions in architectural and urban planning amongst team members spread far and wide.
