Second Life Wiki & Knowledge Base Merging
Linden Lab announced on their blog that they will soon be merging the Second Life Wiki and the Second Life Knowledge Base. Here is a link to the Wiki. It looks just like Wikipedia and uses the Wikipedia software. It has been around for over 2 years and has over twenty one thousand pages. Here is a link to the Knowledge base. It looks similar but a little bit different.
With the pilot the two will be merged and users will have control over both. This removes the workload from Linden Lab and should result in more accuracy and more information. It may also create more spam. A review system run by volunteers will hopefully limit this. Editers must have valid Second Life accounts.
