He talks a little bit about a 4-5% drop in expenditures in the virtual world by Second Life residents due to the economy.

Fortunately there were more people spending money in the game so the overall economy did not decline just the per person spending. He also talks about the “Alien Ambassador” in Second Life. The interview took place at a journalism summit in Washington.
