The virtual world of Second Life will be 6 years old on June 23, 2009. We covered the 5 Year Second Life Birthday Bash last year. Linden Lab will be continuing the virtual celebration entitled “The Future of Virtual Worlds”. Applications are currently being accepted for the 20 regions to be used int he celebration. After two weeks (deadline May 20, 2009) winners will be selected for the parcels of virtual land and given 2 weeks to build.

Parcel Sizes and Limits for Linden Lab Second Life 6 Year Celebration:

1. 512 square meters and 117 prim maximum

2. 1024 square meters and 234 prim maximum

3. 2048 square meters and 468 prim maximum

4. 15 prim booth only

Some Rules:

1. No megaprims

2. No selling anything

3. Everything must be PG

4. No copyright infringement

5. Only one exibit per resident or group
