We wrote before about the public beta of AvaLine which gives an extension to your Avatar in Second Life. The AvaLine: Dial an Avatar beta began in May and will now be launching on August 31, 2009 with a cost of L$1500 a month (about $5) or L$14,400 a year (about $48).

You can signup at http://secondlife.com/avaline. Free voicemail will be available for the rest of 2009. For a limted time the first month is free and the first 500 subscribers get an exclusive hula-dancing bear.
