Liden Lab Confirms Mark Kingdon is Out Philip Rosedale Returning As CEO

In a recent post Linden Lab confirmed the news that we broke about Chief Executive Officer Mark Kingdon being fired.
The official note was full of spin of course with Philip Rosedale stating that “I am going to return as interim CEO, working side-by-side with former CFO Bob Komin, who is being promoted to COO…..It is an honor to have a chance to help more directly again, and I come to this mission with energy, excitement, and an open mind about what we need and how we need to do it. I want to see Second Life continue to grow, amaze, and change the world. It’s what gets me up in the morning.”
No word on if any of the recent 30% of fired staff will be hired back.
We will update you with further information when available. Hopefully this can get Second Life back on track.
