Blue Mars MMORPG Now in Open Beta With Full Flash 10 & Virtual Currency

We wrote yesterday about former Linden Lab Chief Financial Officer John Zdanowski joining Blue Mars. It was a little bit of a shock to hear that the Blue Mars massively multiplayer online role playing game not only launched their open beta today but also did so with full flash integration, and some content creation tools.
Blue Mars uses the Crytek 3d Graphics Engine and boasts full integration with Adobe Flash 10 integration which will support flash games, web driven content, and YouTube and Hulu videos. The virtual currency will be called the Blue Mars Dollar. You can purchase cities for as low as thirty dollars a month.
