SLCN.TV Approaches 150,000 viewers but still uses Quicktime
I was taking a look at SLCN.TV. The biggest problem that I see is that they use Quicktime. Probably because this is what is required in Second Life. But Quicktime sucks. They do have a blog and podcasts which is cool. Channels include shopping, music, business, lifestyle, sports, community, guide, and metanomics. The big talk is that they will be covering Virtual World Conference and the afterparties. Monogram Virtua will be partnering with them at the Los Angeles 2008 Virtual Worlds Conference and Expo. SLCN.TV reports viewership of almost one hundred and fifty thousand per month. They have 14 live shows a week.
