It has been awhile since we had an update on Second Life Homesteads. The Homestead pricing will be changing but purchases made prior to July 1, 2009 will retain the old cost.

These prices will stay in place for 1 year until July 1, 2010. The cost is $95 a month (in US dollars not Linden Dollars) which is pretty steep but not compared to the new pricing of $125 a month. Any purchases after July 1, 2009 and all old purchases after July 1, 2009 will see the increased price of $95 a month for Homesteads.

Remember that Homesteads are the new Openspaces and with some exceptions Open spaces are not really offered anymore.

Also any Homesteads that were abandoned after January 1, 2009 can be reactivated without the setup fee. Read more information here.
