Second Life Grid Upgrades
Second Life is undergoing some grid upgrades. The plan is to remove VPN and establish a new network design in a new facility with a fiber optic ring.
I applaud this plan to upgrade their network as it should increase speed and reliability with their data centers.
The upgrade is scheduled for the end of 2008 but will probably take until March of 2009 to be completed. Increased redundancy should also be added.
