Litigation over Second Life is increasing

We have seen an ever increasing amount over Second Life and virtual worlds in general. Linden Lab and Minsky are currently fighting over trademarks and Linden Lab wants to terminate Minsky’s secondlife account. They are asking for court approval beforehand. By having agreed to Second Life terms of service Minsky will most likely loose and have his account terminated. I am sure both parties will be glad when this whole legal matter is over. It seems like the golden years of the virtual world are now over and you must apply the same level of scrutiny and tread lightly to avoid legal matters. The days of the anonymous griefer or escapist role play are quickly coming to a close. On the bright side that leaves the serious gaming looking for enjoyment and entertainment. What are your thoughts?
