We have written about the changes that Linden Lab has made to policy on traffic bots. The Second Life traffic score will now be changed in the way it effects search results. This is partly due to problems in the calculations. To correct this traffic will now be total minutes spent on the parcel by all avatars from the previous day divided by 60 and rounded up or down to the whole minute. The changes will take effect on Monday, August 31, 2009.
