Whoops. Database and asset server problems

Whoops. Database and asset server problems began today. Starting at about 2:15 pm and continuing into the evening Saturday. Multiple services including scripts, rezzing, logins, teleporting, and more were down. Equipment was replaced. Asset Server issues continue for the time being.

Rolling restart completed Saturday morning

Friday eventing brought on problems with logins, transactions, teleporting, mapping, search, profiles, inworld services, and more. A rolling restart completed Saturday morning. Group Payouts were again delayed and had to be processed manually. The support portal will be down for three hours tonight.

Many regions were offline in Second Life today

Many regions were offline in Second Life today. The problem was related to the rolling restart. Many regions were quickly back online with the majority restored by an hour. After two hours all affected regions were back online. Hopefully we will enjoy a weekend full of stability and reliability.

Credit Card Information Freeze

Credit Card Information Freeze.
Linden Labs is having a problem with their credit card processor. You will be unable to delete or modify a credit card and updates are taking several hours. Paypal information is so far unaffected. I recommend using Paypal as a preferred payment method.
