What are your plans for Memorial Day? I will spend some time with family both in the real world and in Second Life. I will probably do a little windsurfing and a little surfing. I love long weekends and with rising gas prices I definately will not be traveling.

The Reuters Second Life site is down today. The page is coming up with “Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/reuterss/www/stories/wp-includes/streams.php on line 180″. The new 1.2 RC7 Viewer was pulled. The new 1.2 RC7 Viewer was initially available but was then pulled. Problems ocurred with buying Linden Dollars and Land as well as Mac login problems. Please visit the viewers test page and wiki for more information. I recommend extensive testing first.

Here is another example of a Griefer attack in Second Life. At first glance it just looks like dancing and creating cubes. But there is a surprise ending:
The victim of this griefer attack was obviously very annoyed. Griefer attacks are bad for the community but they can be funny at times.
