I read an interesting article on the Stylish Design blog about server backup. This is a situation that has happened to me and many others many times. When the internet speed is set too slow for a backup a bottleneck can form and cause major backup problems. When the network connection points are configured correctly it is important to verify the pipe being used is set to primary. Long story short a lot of money was spent on consultants and IT experts but could have been avoided with careful planning and correct configuration of the backup process. Backups are so important and vital for the success and disaster recovery of your business.
