Can you imagine voting in Second Life? While the opportunities for corruption, griefing, and errors would be huge; it would be an interesting idea. One group, EVE Online is experimenting with virtual voting and elections. The elections are being tested out on Council of Stellar Management. This is an interesting social experiment and coding project, but I doubt we will ever see true democracy in virtual games or real life voting in a virtual world.
