University College Dublin entered Second Life with a splash. They became the first Irish University to have a full class lecture in Second Life. The University library (or a virtual recreation of the library) was the setting and included slides for Web 2.0 technology. The presentation was quite interesting and covered several topics. Professor Mary Burke got the idea from a colleague at UCLA. The presentation was held in the Cybrary Island virtual sim in Second Life.
