How to improve your Second Life In-Game Search Rankings

Thankfully Second Life is now using a new search engine. One of the main ways to find things and be found in Second Life is with the search engine. Standard Search Engine Optimization tactics apply:

1. Use many various keyword variations

2. Don’t forget two and three word phrases

3. Try for misspellings as well

4. Write good descriptions and titles

5. Traffic to a sim still plays a part

6. Getting “Links” from other resident’s picks boosts your ranking but there are supposidly measures in place to prevent bot accounts from doing this.

7. Parcel size effects rankings

8. Do some testing and see what works best for you!
