A string of errors brings the Virtual World to it’s knees. Starting on Monday, teleporting was down, Linden balances were not working, people could not log in, groups were failing, the maps had problems, Linden purchases inworld went down, and more. Second Life will have a “planned” outage Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 7 am for about 5 hours. The beta grid will be down as well. Databases and storage will be upgraded. Registration, the LindeX, and the Land store will also be down.
