Coca Cola Leaves Second Life

In case you have not already heard, Coca Cola is leaving Second Life to instead persue the online world of There.com. Unlike Second Life, There.com allows a more controlled environment. Features such as filter out bad language for example. Coke will have a new virtual island in There.com called CC Metro. This is an interesting move since the traffic for There.com is significantly lower than in There.com. It may be a case of quality over quantity or of return on investment. We will have to see.
