Useing Brain Waves in Second Life

Japanese University Keio University is experimenting with controlling avatars in Second Life using electrodes attached to the scalp and brain waves. This could potentially give people who are paralyzed the ability to move through a virtual world including walking and interacting virtually. The applications for Second Life are limitless and I applaud such applications that would benefit the disabled. I guess the real question is when can this be developed and how much will it cost?
