The issues in Second Life continue

The issues in Second Life continue. The new IP address assignments took over 7 hours with two thousand regions down during the process. The surprise surprise a network problem in the Dallas colocation facility took down five hundred and forty regions in Second Life for over an hour. Later on Saturday in Second Life the databases began to crash continuously. Suppossidly this happens at least four times per day and take 30 minutes to restore. Umm what type of databases are you using and why don’t you switch and hire some database engineers to optimize everything? Database caching anyone? Logins were down, Search was down, and other features in Second Life were down.
