Finder Bot Virtual Sales Assistant

One of the major problems with running a virtual store in Second Life is trying to always keep the store staffed to answer questions and make sales. Well that problem just got a little bit easier to solve with the Finder Bot virtual sales assistant in Second Life.

Alan Ross has won the McKinsey’s Virtual Venture Competition $20,000 prize. The winner entry from Alan Ross was a FinderBot which creates a virtual sales assistant that can be trained to help customers. The McKinsey’s Virtual Venture Competition also awarded Alan Ross an iPhone and marketing advice. Over 300 teams competed in the McKinsey’s Virtual Venture Competition with the 10 finanlists flown to Austria.
