Virtual college fair
Over 150 students visited the first virtual college fair in the Second Life Teen Grid. The virtual college fair was sponsored by Eye4U Alliance, Alliance Library System and the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County in North Carolina, USA and featured representatives from over 20 different colleges. Some notable organizations were the University of Kentucky, the University of North Carolina, and Linden Labs and NASA were in attendance. There was a raffle for L$4000. You do not hear too much about the Teen Grid in Second Life so it is nice to get some exposure.
