The Economic Stats for September were updated for Second Life. There have been 453,097 Second Life residents who have logged in during the last 7 days. The total number of residents is 10,079,765. The average price per square meter in Second Life has increased from 6.36 linden dollars to 6.46 linden dollars. Amazingly in September there were 539 islands added to Second Life compared to only 211 in October. The number of Second Life users making over $5,000 in Second Life dropped from July 2007 from 145 to 129 in August and then slightly up to 138 in September 2007. It is interesting to see such a large drop in positive monthly earnings even spreading across to the number of people who make under $10 US a month.
