POD Ball
There is a new game in Second Life called POD ball. I gave this cool game a try this weekend in Second Life. Pod ball is created by Cube 3 and is a game where Second Life avatars climb into wheel chairs with a glass surface on the front of them and then try to knock a giant ball into a goal similar to soccer. Pod Ball has 3 different fields for competition including moving and layered structures. There is a cost of 600 Linden Dollars for purchasing a Cube Pod but the practice field is free to use. There is talk about an upcoming formation of Cube Pod teams and a Cube Pod league. I was pretty happy with the handling of the Cube Pod unit all though it took a little while to get used to.
