I was giving voice chat a try…

I was giving the Second Life voice chat a try yesterday when it suddenly stopped working. In order to use voice Chat in Second Life you need a microphone on your computer (usb preferably) and speakers. It currently only works well on a computer with Microsoft Windows environment. You must also have a compatible sound card. Person to Person chat seemed to work on and off and I was able to participate in a group voice chat which is confusin gto say the least. The Spatial voice chat that allows you to talk to everyone was not working. I frequently received an error message about maximum capacity for voice conversations. It looks like Linden Labs uses Vivox for their voice chat. Interesting that Linden Labs is so dependent on vendors for their uptime.
