Well Linden Labs certainly didn’t waste any time using the new Second Life Downtime Calendar. Second Life will now be down on both Friday September 14, 2007 and Second Life will also be down on September 19, 2007 for scheduled maintenance at the Second Life collocation hosting facility in second life. Amazingly the outage on Friday September 14, 2007 will last over 3 hours and is supposedly for electrical maintenance work. Over 320 Second Life main land region sims will be affected and down during the scheduled maintenance. Another scheduled maintenance day will be on Wednesday September 19, 2007 beginning at 6:30 am. This maintenance will last for another amazing 3 hours and will affect Beta Second Life and Main Second Life during these outages. Wow. I think we should just announce that Second Life will only be available every Tuesday and Thursday of the week what do you think?
