Virtual St. Francis Basilica in Second Life
I am a big fan of the St. Francis Basilica in Assisi and have actually visited this historic and monumental building. I was surprised to hear that the St. Francis Basilica in Assisi will be recreated in Second Life and available for viewing. The building was created virtually in Second Life by Wedoit s.a.s. and Metafuturing S.I and Euromedia Italia. This must have been very expensive to build. I wonder if they contacted their San Diego accountants. The virtual building will include the architecture and renaissance paintings as well as a virtual visit with audio information in Italian and English.
